and New Partners
GP Partners Retirement
Dr Davies
and Dr Joshi have now retired from Abersychan Surgery.
Everyone at Abersychan would like to thank both Dr Davies & Dr Joshi for all
their time, effort & loyal commitment to Abersychan Group Practice
throughout their many years of service. They shall both be missed by GP’s,
staff and patients.
New Partners
We
are pleased to announce that Dr
Mark Lavis & Dr Reji Paul have joined
as partners with the practice
Both of these new partners have worked
at the surgery in the past. We would like to welcome them to Abersychan and look
forward to working with them for many years!
New Primary
Care Centre for Abersychan
Following the Public Engagement
event held at the practice in March 2007, a bid has now been submitted to the
Welsh Assembly Government, to support a new development on the existing
Abersychan Surgery site.
The bid has been reviewed by the Assembly, who have contacted Torfaen Local
Health Board for clarification on certain issues.
The practice is now working with the Local Health Board in order to
develop a response to the areas requiring further information.
It is hoped the resubmission will be made in March 2009.
