Test Results

If you have had a blood test or X-ray you will be asked to ring the surgery for the result.

X-rays take about 7 working days to return.

Blood and urine specimen results may be ready after 48 hours but some tests may take longer to come back.

We ask patients to ring  between 11.30am and 1.00pm or their results. ( The phone lines are very busy before 11.30 dealing with the days "urgent calls and requests")

The receptionist will be tell you what you need to do after once you have the result. You may not need to see a doctor, but on occasions you will be asked to see either a doctor or a nurse.

Please ensure that you ring for your own results as we are not able to give your results to anyone else.

Thank you for you co-operation with this advice.
